Browser Requirements

PeopleSoft 8 is web based, and officially requires the use of the following web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 98, Windows NT 4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 on Windows NT 4, Windows 9x, and Windows 2000
  • Internet Explorer 5 on Mac OS 7.6.1 and above
  • Netscape Communicator 4.7x on Windows NT 4, Windows 9x, Windows 2000, and Mac OS 7.6.1 and above
  • Netscape 7 on Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Mac OS 9/X

Note: For UPK (PeopleSoft Online Training) Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0 is required.

Also, please ensure any popup blocking software is either turned off or allows the FinServ websites, and that JavaScript / Active Scripting is enabled. This includes Windows XP Service Pack 2 popup blocking feature.

If for some reason you are unable to use a supported browser, you may be eligible to use the PeopleSoft published application on the ITS Citrix farm.

Financial Services can only provide support for PeopleSoft 8.8 if you are using one of the supported browsers listed above.
