SRC Advisor

Advisor is accessed via Citrix for anyone not using the ADMIN domain.

PeopleSoft

PeopleSoft, where possible, should be used with a supported browser. In the event that you are unable to due to Faculty/School/Centre security policies, you will need to use the Citrix farm run by ITS.

Setting up Citrix access

This access will require approval from your management. Please fill in the ITS Citrix Access form.

Then submit the completed form to Information Technology Services (ITS) (M463).

The plugin is available as a download from the Citrix website. 

The installation is described in the pages below.

How you want to connect to the Citrix farm will dictate which client to download:

    Option 1 (preferred)

You may use the Citrix Web Interface (requires the XenApp Plugin to be downloaded).

Then you may log on to the ITS Citrix Server to access the relevant applications.

    Option 2

You can use the citrix client outside of the web browser (requires the XenApp Presentation Server Client Package to be downloaded). 

If your department is running a firewall, ensure TCP port 1494 is open for the following IP's: 

• 130.95.227.136
• 130.95.227.165

You then need to configure the client to point at the ITS Citrix farm.

Known problems:

• In addition to the network security required for the application itself, the security group ITS_Citrix_Users is needed (ref log 126469).
